Brown shingle roof of a house against a blue sky with clouds, surrounded by trees.

Single Family Home Roof Replacement

This Hummelstown home required a full roof replacement after missing shingles and aging materials left multiple vulnerable areas exposed, as shown in the inspection photos on pages 5 through 7. Our team removed the entire existing shingle system along with the old awning and installed a complete architectural roofing system (IKO Cambridge, Tamko Titan, or GAF Golden Pledge depending on the homeowner’s final selection).

The new roof included aluminum drip edge, ice and water shield on all eaves, valleys, and pitch transitions, full synthetic underlayment, starter shingles on all eaves, new ridge venting on the main peaks, and color matched capping shingles. We also installed new chimney flashing on both chimneys and replaced step flashing and headwall flashing as needed to ensure the entire system is sealed and protected.

What We Delivered

What we delivered was a full-system roof upgrade built for long term performance. With the failing shingles removed and new architectural shingles installed over upgraded water protection, underlayment, starter shingles, and ventilation, the home now has a stronger and more reliable barrier against Pennsylvania weather. New chimney flashing and refreshed step and headwall flashing completed the system, ensuring every vulnerable point was reinforced. The finished roof is clean, durable, and ready for decades of protection.
