Real stories from our team—how they started, how they’ve grown, and what makes Joyland a place to build a career.
Alex
Alex graduated from trade school in the middle of COVID, when jobs were scarce—but roofing was essential. Joyland called him back the same day he applied, and he jumped in with the crew at sunrise, tearing off roofs and putting his skills to work. For Alex, the real difference is the culture: a place that welcomes you, teaches you, and gives you the tools to succeed if you’re willing to learn and bring your best.
Jason
Jason joined Joyland after moving from New York to Pennsylvania, looking for steady work as he started a new chapter in life. Along the way, he gained not just technical roofing skills but also leadership experience and personal growth. For Jason, Joyland has been a place that equips people with the tools to succeed, values hard work, and gives room to learn and thrive in whatever role fits best.
Zach
Zach came to Joyland looking for a company that would invest in him and help him grow. . What’s stood out most to him is the training and support—weekly classes, seminars, and hands-on learning that sharpen both technical and sales skills.
