Single Family Home Cedar Roof Replacement

This Wrightsville home required a full roof replacement after aging materials and exposed fasteners left the property vulnerable to potential leaks. Our team removed the existing cedar shingle roof materials—excluding the standing seam roof areas—and installed a complete Premium Western red cedar roofing system.

The new roof included a cedar breather, TopShield Aluminum F5M drip edge in Savannah Wicker, and TopShield G300 Ice & Water underlayment along all eaves, flashing, and valleys. We installed GAF TigerPaw synthetic underlayment, new medium bronze metal valley flashing with a center rib, and GAF Cobra Exhaust Vent mesh on the main peaks. We also installed Lifetime Ultimate Pipe Flashing on vent pipes, new chimney flashing with Ice & Water shield, and replaced step and headwall flashing as needed to ensure the entire system is sealed and protected.

What We Delivered

What we delivered was a full-system roof upgrade built for long-term performance. With the failing cedar shingles removed and new Premium Western red cedar shingles installed over upgraded Ice & Water protection, synthetic underlayment, and a cedar breather, the home now has a stronger and more reliable barrier. New chimney flashing, an updated metal valley, and refreshed step and headwall flashing completed the system, ensuring every vulnerable point was reinforced. The finished roof is clean, durable, and ready for decades of protection.
