John is a second generation owner at Joyland Roofing. He grew up in the family business sweeping the shop, cleaning up jobsites, and learning the ropes long before he was old enough to actually touch a shingle. By the time he finally got to join the roofing crew full-time, he realized he still had plenty to learn and dove straight in.

He’s since worked every role in the company and holds industry certifications including GAF Master Elite, Versico Certified Contractor, and MuleHide Certified Contractor. That hands-on experience shapes how he leads Joyland today with clear communication, transparent pricing, and guarantees that actually mean something to customers.

His favorite title though is Dad. His two young sons already claim to be “roofers” and wear it proudly. John and his wife stay busy investing in their community through ministry and outreach, passing on to their kids the values of family, faith, and loving others well.
