Looking Back On 2018

It’s been a big year at Joyland – more homes reroofed and repaired than ever before – and we know we have you to thank for that. Our customers, employees, and supporters are the heart and soul of what we do, and as 2018 draws to a close, we want to say how much we appreciate the part each of you played in our growth this year.

New Offerings

Besides expanding our reroofing crews, we started offering a few new products and services this year.

In April, we installed our first Decotech Integrated Solar Roof. We became GAF Solar Elite contractors, one of a few roofing companies nationwide who can install GAF’s new roof solar system. It’s a big step forward for solar – panels designed to integrate fully with your roof, instead of mounted on top of it. We’re excited to be on the cutting edge of the growing solar industry, and we look forward to providing solar systems to more homes in our communities.

We also started offering metal roof coatings – a great option to extend the lifespan of metal roofs by decades. While metal roofs alone are a long-lasting option for many buildings, we’ve seen them last over 100 years with regular coatings. We’re glad to be able to offer our customers this option to maximize their investment in their metal roofs.

This year we committed to expanding and streamlining our repairs division, as well. Small-ticket patches and leak searches aren’t a big focus for many mid- to large-sized roofing companies, but it’s a recurring, urgent need our customers have, so we’ve made it a priority to serve that need.

2019 And Beyond

Looking ahead to the new year, we’re optimistic.

We plan to continue growing and improving, to serve the communities around us better. Expanding our fleet and growing our crews mean we’ll be able to take on more reroof projects to meet the growing need in our area.

We’re continuing to expand our service division, making sure we’re ready to protect your homes from leaks, and lengthen the lifespan of your roof.

We’re committed to using the latest technology to streamline our customer experience, from easier estimating to quick and simple financing. We believe old-fashioned workmanship and customer service paired with cutting-edge systems creates the best home service experience. We’re excited for the opportunities all these commitments will present.
